William's monster bie is simply nice. It's been built around the gigantics Surly Endomorph 4'' wide! Moreover, Will wanted a suspension. We had to build a custom one from an Action Tec damper to clear the tires and the rear hub that is used as a front one. Will is also using a Rolhoff 14 internal speed rear hub and wanted the S&S machine works couplers to be able to travel with his bike. To have more details, click on the picture This one is not really a montain bike but almost...City commuter bike with internal 7 speed hub, 29 inches slick tyres (thanks Schalbe), brooks B-17 saddle, Salsa parts and of cours the custom built wooden fenders.
A prototype built with a Devinci MoonRacer. The main triangle tubes are True Temper Verus and the weight is 6.5 pounds... a little bit heavy but, for testing purposes, it will be OK.
Hugo's bike is a real beauty. It is made from Columbus Zona tubes and a excentric bottom bracket to ride single speed. We also have put tue options for Hugo to eventually put derailleurs on his bike. Hugo's though and so is his bike, it's plenty stiff and keeps a dynamic feel that steel frames are known for. More than just being black, there are a couple of jolly rogers painted on the front triangle! For detailed pictures, click on the image. Guillaume's (Golem owner/welder) is build from True Temper OX Platinum tubing and is really dynamic and nimble. The frame weights 3.5 pounds and the parts are comming from various bikes! The metalic burgundy color is eye catching and nice to look at in the sun. For detailed pictures, click on the image.
Chantale's new bike has been built to replace her old frame that was too heavy and not agile enough to her taste. We kept the old parts and a super nice bike his born from True Temper Verus tubing.
Jean's trial's bike have been built in June 2003 from his own sketches and it's getting abuse since then. The frame is built from 4130, the head tube plates are stainless steel and the yoke is also stainless steel and it weights 6.5 pounds. For detailed pictures, click on the image. Claude's mountain bike. The frame is built with True Temper Verus HT and it's equiped with parts from is previous bike. The paint is a metallic blue with a solid yellow that gives a surprisign effect.
My very firs bike welded in Quebec. It's a single speed with a pretty unique mix of tubes and parts! The bottom bracket is a split shell excentric. After four years of winter and summer abuse it's riding as well as the first day.
The one and only BMX built by Golem to date. It is built with 0.035" and 0.049" 4130 tubes and is designed to be at home on all type of riding.
